Amos was at the forefront of a number of female singer-songwriters in the early 1990s and was noteworthy early in her career as one of the few music more… stars to use a piano as her primary instrument. She is known for emotionally intense songs that cover a wide range of subjects including sexuality, religion, patriarchy and personal tragedy. Some of her charting singles are “Crucify”, “Silent All These Years”, “Cornflake Girl”.

Saw her play Cornflake Girl a in September at Hammersmith Apollo in London UK, the piano intro is incredible, I could play this song all day long and never get bored of it, love it!!! she is so talented!

She’s like by far the most talented when it comes to playing the piano while singing in a very jazzy style….unlike most piano players in a band they play nice too but just merely playing simple flow according to as it is…hard to imply…
